Homemade Elderberry Syrup


Natural Remedy for cold & flu prevention

Benefits of elderberry

High in vitamin C

Boosts immune system

Rich in anti-oxidants

Anti-inflammatory

What you need:

1 cup elderberries

6 slices fresh ginger

4 cloves

2 cinnamon sticks

4 cups water

1 cup honey

Directions:

Add everything but honey to a medium saucepan.

Bring to a boil & lower heat to medium.

Simmer for 30 minutes.

Strain the liquid through a fine mesh pressing on solids to release liquid.

Let the liquid cool to warm & then add honey.

Store in a jar in the fridge. Will last months.
